Yea i pushed the highlights a bit more on the skin. The client is very happy with the progress so far. But i did manage to pretty much finish it tonight, took me about 8 hours total of painting, which for me is very quick

i'm really excited about painting more of these fellas.

Very nice. I have one troll here and I'm seriously considering green skin now.
The balance of colours you have a achieved is very nice - I particularly like the dark metal javelin tips - how were they done?

Cool thanks all
@Angora, the metal tips on the spears were done
-boltgun metal base coat
-Successive washes of badab black to give a really dark colour
-Boltgun metal watered down and darkened with badab black to bring back some of the metal colour and clean up the model,
-Pure boltgun metal on the edges
-mix of mithril silver and boltgun metal on the edges
And onto model number 2 of 12 for this commission, my client was very happy with his first model and i'll be taking this second model to him tonight so that he can use it in the journeyman league. Anyway have a look

Yarrrr!!!!
I like the back of the miniature, especially the weapon (or whatever is inside) the sheet, and the leather is really nicely made, looks old, and used.
Nice mushy on the base
