is ther a parot sand ??
about highlight - try in reverse - notto highlight but to darken - much easer
Snow / frost cover bones look best ATM

Thanks Maru! Parrot sand? You mean like the sand they put in bird cages?

I don't know about that - it's regular Woodland Scenics ballast. I still have to paint it but I want to put the thundertusk on it first to see what areas are visible.
hmmm...trying the opposite...I'll probably cover up my details for sure.

But I've got a spare ogre bull I can experiment on. I'll try that one first and see how it goes. Thanks again Maru! I'll try it today and see if I can get some pics up this afternoon.

well it is quite known tech end actualy effective - you start at the color you desire to be "base" end ad to it a highlight color so you ger a 3/4 way to brightest color on this surface - like skin end this actualy highlight color is your base color - you put on mini end from that you just shade end as last touch applay final highlight only in places wher is this rqire - actualy thini dots
ther should be tutorial for this ... im shure of it .... well i wached such (but i mey have halucynation

) meyba Mahon or sombody will rymember wher is this 1 ..
well it caind of resemble that caint of sand ... is tegularend yellow
