Well, the trip was okay... unfortunately due to organizational diffculties was not as good as expected. Actually I wanted to combine going home and visiting friends with holiday, which didn't work out too well. At the end I have a fight with my mother, who feels put aside and hurt, thinks she didn't have enough opportunities to see her grandchild. Now she is threatening me that she'll go to a lawyer to get her right to see her grandchild through... :-s

You must have really weird law system in hungary if such prosecution is possible at all

horrible indeed never heard that before, its a bit extreme behaviour. maybe its just a bad moment that will pass with time.

This is actually not her first action of this art, although this far she hasn't gone yet.
I don't think such prosecution is possible. There is a law which tells that grandparents have also right to see their grandchild, but as far as I know, it only applies if either we are divorced, or one of us dies or goes in prison, or something similar. Or in case we ecplicitly forbid her to see him, which is definitely not the case.
We are trying to get along in this problem, but my mother is a very stubborn personality and that makes it even more difficult.
I shouldn't be touched with this, I know my mom, she's always been a bit off the track. I'm happy to have my own family where we've managed to avoid such situations, even fights so far.
