Re: Flagoon's finished works

I must say I like the way you painted it. It looks like the classic 'eavy metal style presented by the GW studio painters in the previous decade(s).
definitely a nice oldschool style!

what it lacks is some smoothness and more neatness, but it's secondary to me as long as the paintjob is sharp, and details are well defined.

where you seem to fail is on the reflector/lamp he's got on his backpack. it looks like dipped in green paint, neither clean nor neat. just slapped with green...

Thanks Mahon, as usual your points are welcome ;) As for neatness and smoothness I confess, didn't have enough time for the mini. And some of my paints are rubberish (like rubber, i.e. green lamp was painted with it)... Probably I should throw them away.

Another miniature... I finished it late at night before very important day, so this is the only photo :). Please forgive me wedding cake in some places :D

Aye, I lost my freedom week and a half ago :) The ring is heavy and it burns sometimes, but I noticed that all my senses are more accurate now. I can "detect" beautiful woman from 100 meters :D

Sauron is a baby girl compared to a wife that sees her husband without 'the ring' ;)
