For quite some time I was thinking that Chaperhouse is going to far in terms of bending IP so I guess they had it comming. Not that they're the only company making add-ons targeted at GW fans - they simply worked to openly on GW brands (naming your product with registered trademarks doesn't help either). I just wonder if that's a single case or are they making a move against the whole third-party bitz market. Then there would be quite some chaos amongst small manufacturers.

And as for polish courts the most difficult part with them is that lawsuits that involve numerous evidence/witnesses/etc. tend to last years and that is the major issue here. But as mentioned before our IP laws are in force for like 15 years now and are not much different than in the rest of civilised world.

GW seems to only target those who use and abuse their ip, in this case CH even used the Space wolves name, so for me a bad choice of marketing.

Not only Space Wolves - they used to openly name all the products according to the GW counterpart, like using different Space Marine chapter Names, tyranid creature names etc. Practically all their products broke the IP's in terms of names.
I just wonder if that's all there is as there are other companies that also produce parts compatibile with the GW Space Marines or other miniatures and my question is if they shall also receive similiar lawsuits.

Dont think so, since the ones i know only sell them has shoulder pads, i guess the way to go is just dont use GW stuff masked with green stuff or use names with ip
