Shoot the author of the paintjob. Show unpainted minis. Showing your models painted like this is like shooting your own leg... :|

Why can't these guys find a painter to paint their models? I bet there would be a few who would even paint it for little or no money....
For me who painted this one most obviously had hardly any clue about painting miniatures :|

i think is not that at this point it is not about painting minis but about promoting system - so you made them beyond lvl of playability end iven beyond good looking at RW - they have to look good on Photos end prints not on table nor on RW so feve things got to be overgone to much contrasted - as it will turn god on photos end prints

end you mey go on 3 ways with that
- show ppl pewter minis (Reaper)
- show master class painted (Rackham) (iven if you cheat with Graphic programs)
- or average painted "your minis mey look like that" (GW)
but if you do so make it good

Well, Neuroshima is a really well written rpg system.
Neuroshima Hex, an award winning board game, with international editions.
So the rules to the tabletop game may be expected to be excellent as well. But the minis are really ugly :(
And the painting looks like somebody of mediocre skills spent not more than 1 hour on each. Shame.

haven't noticed the thread earlier... ouch my eyes hurt :(

minis are ugly as hell and the painting is terrible. I think it's a combination of an underpaid painter with a complete lack of motivation probably caused by the bad sculpt.

Who buys this junk?

yeah, this explains a lot...
I bet they would get much more visually appealing products if they paid for some work to those who do it.

Neuroshima Hex - good game. These minis - terrible marketing move...

It still doesn't explain this horror. Even if painter don't get any money for his work it still would be a nice advertisement for him. He put his very own name under it, not nickname, but full real world name. If I were him I would do as much as I can. Doing painting well for such game could be very nice start to be professional, well known painter. Doing it like this pictures above is a straight way to be an anti-painter example. He don't even accept criticism (take a look at official NS Tactics page).

But, the biggest question is - where they find The Sculptor?
