they look like taken with flash. but without exif data we can only guess.
I guess you wouldn't take photos with flash, unless it's totally unavoidable...

no need to. these ain't THAT bad. I thought they were terrible but I changed my mind. they're good enough to talk about the paintjob :rose:
was it a fast paintjob? or just a contrast test piece?
because the smoothness of the cape isn't even comparable to what you showed on the marine's power sword...
I assume smoothness was not a priority this time because you just wanted to focus on contrast.

nah you need "Homemade Bounce Flash Toys"
https://home.comcast.net/~dougsmit/bounceflashtoys.html
Obviously, there are commercial products on the market that will assist in a similar way. Perhaps they are better; perhaps they are just more expensive.
- from my expirience "they are just more expensive" - but got fancy firm logo
mounting somthing like that on "on board" flash light is bit tricky but afrer 2 minutes you will figure out how to
- like this one :

Yes they are

Fast??? dont know that word
It was a contrast piece and a repaint piece since this one was already started

It was more important the contrast then the smoothness, do i tried to put both.
Has for the cape it was a "gremlin" it dosent show that much

but the paint pealed after i varnish with andrea matt varnish i dont know why since i used it in all the mini but onlt happened in the bottom part of the cape
My review
Back cape needs a smoother look
Gold NMM much better then Metal NMM
Jewel i like how it turned out
Black's gloves are smoother and nicer than pants and boots
Color choice tourned out well (it was a high contrast choice)
The wires are simple but worked nicelly
Reds my favourite part much better alive then in photo
Next steps:
Smoother transitions
Softer use of paint
lesser the chalk efect
Great ill use that
Thanks

don't fix it. it's good enough. move on to another one.
fixing and repainting takes more time than it's worth...
