and I have the same Thrud waiting for some paint to be slapped on him, so let me keep my eyes open

Thanks for the replies guys, I've done a little moreto Thrud yesterday and to be honest he isn't too far off being done. Here are a couple of the latest WIPs of him as he is so far,

I'll get the strapping onhis feet done today before I go off to work and that will just leave his helmet and axe to do tomorrow. I wanted to do the axe this morning but unfortunately my last 0.6mm drill broke so I couldn,t drill it to pin it. I'll get some more today.

very nice skin tones but such huge back demands a superdetailed tatoo

A tatt would look good but it just wouldn't fit with the character as in all the Thrud stories as far as I can remember he never had a tattoo.

Sorry for the double post but I have done a bit more to the skellie and someone asked to keep them up with my NMM attempt. It is not too bad and I think I'll keep it going,

thrud is really nice - I like gems nicely contrasting with dominating flesh tone;
and about nmm - t's very inspiring; I finally have to learn this technique because so far I'm totally nmm-moron

I've just checked thrud comics I have and found no tattoos

A little more progress made today on the skelly, I'm not keen on this NMM stuff though it surprises me just how much better it looks when photographed.

I'm going to persevere just to say that I made the attempt and this will not be going in my Cmon gallery. Next model will be back to good old reliable metalics.
