Bar scene actually. I picture him standing on the bar. Thinking that he just won a drinking game with a passed out patron on the floor.

I cut the balsa wood to the size I wanted. Following the natural grain of the wood, I took a razor knife and cut even slits in the wood for the spaces between the foor boards. I then black lined the groves. Once the paint was dryed I based coated each plank with Woodstain Brown and allowed to dry. Then Using Shield Brown I either dry brushed the wood allowing for the natural grain to show or drew the grain I wanted. I then finished up by adding knots using Woodstain Brown and the lining then with Shield Brown.

Painted the bar Cream Ivory then aged it. I was thinking that the bar was once a nice but the bar went down hill.

The old bar was too small this one is a bit bigger. I still not sure what I should do with the mugs. I was thinking to keep them wood but I was also considering making them metal. Thoughts?

I figured out how to make saw dust/straw like substance from the bits of the basla wood. I will add this most likely to the floor.

I move to the figure tonight. Here is the axe. Kind a bad picture the color is off too.

I love pewter tankards, would look great if you painted them dull metal like these...

Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

nice base. there's so many wooden parts there already, so I'd paint mugs metal.
axe blade has two dark spot along the edge. They are darker than other shadows, which makes them look almost like holes :) use the same dark shade to paint carved rune and other shadows.

Here are some various messes I am planning on. Puke (upper left part) needs more bits.

Tankards were made by Tailspinner. Big thanks there.
