well... to be honest my friend and I tried painting blood on minis using real blood (I used my own and he - his) but results were rather crappy... but otoh I read an article about painting blood with real blood and the guy who wrote it achieved nice effect

I would just like to say that I love the sense of menace that this mini gives, the painting is excellent and the base is very nice but I think it is the very real look of the blood and gore that makes the mini, kind of reminds me of Reservoir Dogs.
I would love to know how you achieved the look.
