Old X-men comics have a lot of Tecnovirus stuff (i.e. Cable). Maybe here you should look for some inspiration..

There's also a newer one called Exiles with some good artwork where the whole planet, including all the Marvel superheroes still alive, have caught the Technovirus. Not sure the imagery is something you can work with, but you never know.

I've just been trying to think of what type of equipment, armor, or weapons a genestealer could use that might appear grown into their bodies similar to the armor from the Obliterators. I just don't much about genestealers.

What about making some of their exoskeleton parts have more squared edges? Or some of the openings that show stuff underneath be more squared (machined looking) than round?

Lady Genestealers are feral and unable to use tools so tecnovirus only could blend in blades, drills ,spikes or other more basic weapons...
