OK, this one is much much better than the marine in my opinion. very much like native american (or north american indian for some), which is just fine for what a wood elf should look like to me.
not quite sure about the lower lip and don't know if the hair is "painter friendly" enough though...
Elf bust finished
Re: Space marine bust finished
I agree with Mahon on this one, it is very native american in my eyes too and the detail on it is superb. I think with the lips in general his mouth is a little big for his face. Still a good piece, how long has this one been going on for? and is that going to be a quiver on his back?

oh yes, much better than SM. and more interesting
again - I'm not a sculptor. but, if I may suggest something, I'd say you should try to make separate elements of your sculpts more distinct. take a look at feathers at his chest or his braids. it seems as if they are merged with his clothes beneath.

@mahon: thanx a lot... you're right for the lip, but I tried a thinner one and the result didn't fit my hope, too strict I think...
@artica: due to my 2 babies, I've not much time to sculpt, so this one has been worked in 6 weeks, representing about 20 hours (right, I'm a slow guy....) of work. and well, you can see the arrows
@nameless: Obviously you're right... I'll try to reinforce the lining while painting it...
