Indeed.
I must say however that I gave him for free also, a month before, a 32' LCD TV, so I must say that we have a good relationship.
I guess the thing is similar.
The TV costed me 3000€ some 7 years ago (now it's not worth much), and the same can be said, for him, for the minis (he never uses them).
I think however that, in general, the minis can still be sold for quite some money still.
The TV, no way.
Anyway, yes, I was positively surprised.

wow, 1000 minis? I doubt he can ever run out of them.
and you say the TV is not worth much now? and its historic value?
