I have to agree with Arctica regarding the eyes, they look like they are bulging out of his head. I also think the metal areas could use a bit more shading as they look somewhat plain as is.
The orc does look quite good to me.

thanks guys for some feedback!
I have heard a lot of critcs about the eyes and the grass behind Felix, so I`ll just have to help those minis a bit and then just leave them and go on with new ones

I don't understand

why you left the hair/grass without paintwork?
You could use washes on them or add details on the ends (from Super Glue and sand?)
Anything that could make grass from such hair

The cloak, shoes and hair on Felix are the best, indeed

I haven`t posted anythink for a long time, so here is a small up. It was rather a quick paintjob and I am very pleased with the final effect.

nice base. oh, wait, there's a mini too!
good quality if you say it's a speed painted mini. though some darklining would not really increase time required to finish the mini, while it would surely help to define different elements better and improve the overall effect

I also think some darklining would be good for this miniature. The eye looks a bit freaky, in my experience it's best if you make sure the pupil at least touches both edges of the eye. If you only make a dot surrounded by white it looks like the mini is on acid.
Other than that I like the pastel colouring and the blonde hair alot. The chequered base is also very nice.

After coming back from holiday I had 2 evenings to paint for a miniature exchange here in Wroclaw. My recipient plays WE and he was very happy when he got this one:

I`m not sure, why his eye looks so weird and so brown

No one likes my waywatcher, maybe dire wolves will do better

I am happy how did they turn out. It took me 3 evenings to paint them and another 2 to make bases for them. If I could change something it would be the rocks, they look to similar to dire wolves` fur. I will just move on and leave it

Before priming they looked like this:

oh, just noticed the waywatcher, and you are right - I can't say I like it.
It looks like a mediocre tabletop quality miniature. With this quality we could applaud a unit, especially a large one, but not a single mini.
The bases are not bad, the wolves are better than the elf. At least there are more of them and the quality is comparable.
