Great work on the blade: it looks very realistic.

Overall this is a very good paintjob, although I think the skin could benefit from some more highlights.

Where did you buy the base?

The base is a topper for a captain morgan's private stock rum bottle. I cut the cork portion off and used the remained of it with pins to help anchor the mini.

Finished him up and sharpened some of the edge lines. Tried to keep the base simple as the viking I am working on I have plans for. Wanted the look of a seasoned fighter.

V. good overall effect but I think there's sth wrong with his eyes. What I mean is that there is green light around them but they're dark inside. I dont know if you were trying to make SL but it looks like unfinished one. But as I said, the whole mini looks cool :)

Was trying to make a digital display sort of set up. The light would be inside on the soldiers face but the light that would be seen would be whats left over after filling his helmet with the light. I will try again to make the effect more realistic in the next armor set up.

Well sort of ran out of time. I have a emergency with the GF's family so I will be gone the next two days. If I get bumped then I will spend some time cleaning up what I would have done. If go on there is always next round to improve.

Final Version of the project. Calling it : Currahee

Cool! The grey on the base could benefit from some black wash and white highlight on the bumps, but the minis are really nice.

The dio is really nice!
I like the commando guy, especially the face. I can`t understand why he has white/red markings, which make him only more visible not stealth ;-)
Sandbags and wire look good, but the black guy lacks contrast and it`s hard to see any details.
After some googling now I know what "Currahee" means :-D
