I like them a whole damn lot!!! But then again I've always loved Skaven, even had a 10K army of them...

I love the fact that they made the Doomwheel again and made it look cool without being comical. :D

well, as I said elsewhere:

Sniktch looks cool as a sngle model, but is in a radically different style than other models shown here. He is very exaggerated and stylized. Looks like taken straight from a dark comic book - like Spawn, Batman, etc.
Very good mini, but in a different style than its army...

And what I like is the fact that they returned to the old 3rd edition style with the regiments. Skaven don't look like muscular ape-men or dog-men anymore, but are these ugly and dirty vermin clad in rags that they used to be before 4th edition style changed them...

yeah, they managed to improve them in general terms. However, for me, as a non-gamer, they are not something I'd like to paint. perhaps that warlord in a red armour? Without that back-banner though, I guess it'd be hard to jump around with such a burden on one's back :)

I think the trophy rack is this character's trademark. I also liked this character the most (I think he's Queek Head-taker)

I think skaven are not the kind of models a non-gamer would find interesting or impressive...

Queek the Horse Taker?
I agree with your opinion on skaven. Well, almost agree. I think there were few minis that should be joy for a lot of painters, like that plague priest (what was his name?) or vermin lord.

Skrolk,right. He was uber cool.

vermin lord - I don't know, I loved the guy. perhaps today I'd change my mind. I think I won't search for pics now, and leave it in my memory as a great model.
