I wasn't sure about this project until you added the NMM. Now, I must say it is fantastic. If the rest of the model turns out like this it will be very impressive!

The gold has really enhanced the contrast of the red armor. It is amazing how the same part can change in the vicinity of other colors. This only proves that one should get into theory first, before starting to paint
