but I don't know jack about casting, you know, so unless someone offers to give a hand, it probably won't be casted

A wood plinth of some kind, perhaps.

we should release resin plinths so you might find one useful

oh, I hadn't understood... I already have a woodbase for it. I was wondering on how to sculpt the down part of the bust...
