Love the base but still think its a little to much damage but I think that is more my personal style then any thing else. I like the bionics on the plasma gun arm. The purple colors on the hosing and axe handle could use a little bit more highlighting and shadowing.
If it wasn't for the gutter my mind would be homeless.

Too dirty for my taste - looks like too much is going on there.
To me it looks as if he just jumped out of acid into a can of oil.

The paintjob is not bad, but the weathering is overdone for my taste. The white lines you painted on your 'chipped paint' are too thick and the effect loses its credibility because of it.
Other than that, you can paint and you're technically good. Just remember that sometimes less is more!

The base is better though. Not as excessive as the weathering - and it fits well with the mini!

For the beastman, i like the axe, the metallics are coming out nicely, but im not keen on the horns, they look like maggots to me. I've just always imagined horns to be whiter towards the tips, much like teeth cos those are the points where they are worn and used more.

For the marine, for 2-3 hours work its quite nice, i like the battle damage and weathering on this one more than your last marine, i think it's because this one isn't as noisy as the other. One thing i might add is the purity seal on his leg is a bit too close in colour to his armour, but im sure a bit of freehand work on that or something will help with that. But like you said, its still a wip :D good stuff!
