Good to see most of you guys and girls are still here. But Mahon, judging by your avatar you really look older 
And the number of posts you've built up is simply amazing.
I really know what you mean by 'the old guard', and in a way I'm proud to be part of it. I've said this before, but 3-4 years ago were really the glory days of miniatures IMO: CMON was a thriving community, together with Headblast of course. Companies like Rackham were producing miniatures on a quality level never seen before. A lot of miniature companies tried their luck also: Hasslefree, Freebooter,... And of course my old Corvus Miniatures site
Again it could be me being too nostalgic...
Yesterday I was checking out some minis in my 'work in progress drawer' (a drawer containing all those projects "you will finish one day", you know what I mean). One of the last project before my hiatus was a Rackham warband, but I got no further than barely starting the first figure. But I think I will start again from there, the painting virus has gotten me again 
I'm already looking forward to meeting you guys at Crisis. Do you plan to enter the painting competition? I'll probably bring along some older work, since I didn't make it last year.
If you pardon me now, I have 5k posts to do to catch up with you guys
