Good to see most of you guys and girls are still here. But Mahon, judging by your avatar you really look older ;) And the number of posts you've built up is simply amazing.

I really know what you mean by 'the old guard', and in a way I'm proud to be part of it. I've said this before, but 3-4 years ago were really the glory days of miniatures IMO: CMON was a thriving community, together with Headblast of course. Companies like Rackham were producing miniatures on a quality level never seen before. A lot of miniature companies tried their luck also: Hasslefree, Freebooter,... And of course my old Corvus Miniatures site ;)
Again it could be me being too nostalgic...

Yesterday I was checking out some minis in my 'work in progress drawer' (a drawer containing all those projects "you will finish one day", you know what I mean ;)). One of the last project before my hiatus was a Rackham warband, but I got no further than barely starting the first figure. But I think I will start again from there, the painting virus has gotten me again :)

I'm already looking forward to meeting you guys at Crisis. Do you plan to enter the painting competition? I'll probably bring along some older work, since I didn't make it last year.

If you pardon me now, I have 5k posts to do to catch up with you guys :)

I'm planning to enter, but I plan a lot of things :P I am gonna try to enter at least one fig, maybe more.
I have a few things on my workbench that I can finish in time I think.
