Skrit - yeah I completely understand what you mean, and it's true. These are the first figures I have ever had cast, so I didn't want to try anything too original and risky...I wanted to see if I could do some common fantasy subejcts. And also for learning...I've been using these figures to teach myself more about sculpting and try to improve my level. So hopefully you're right, and I can make some more interesting things in the future when I'm a little more confident!

Tomaz - yeah well ideas are always welcome...I'm certainly open to suggestions. My aim is to make minis that people want, after all!

The beastman, I'm not sure if it will fit the 'interesting' bill hehe...I guess it is again quite 'standard fantasy' in subject matter. But hopefully you guys might still like it haha...I think it's the best one so far.

Good luck to you Sebastian! If I can only advise you I will be eager to see more dynamic poses, for instance some jumping/fighting etc. models.

My favourite is the chick, but something wonders me in her. I don`t know, is that because she has too big head or too small boobs :)

And btw, can you reveal some news about your visit in Nottingham?:) Can we excpect a new brush within the famous team?

the "problem" i have with the chick is that she has a weird belly. i cant point my finger (if i HAD to i would say the navel - i know that the navel itself is usually round at the top, but theres this small groove between the muscles/tissue that the navel sits in - should be a bit more stretched and thereby creating a central recess along the muscles that should have followed the twist a bit more) and it might be the pics, but there's just something that makes my brain say "wrong"

Maybe one pie too many from Mrs Miggins Pie Shoppe?
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

even if she has a little fat there, when she twists like that the bindingtissue should stretch and pull everything a little tighter. it looks a bit like her fat tissue is detached from binding tissue...maybe she got a hole in her abdomen O_o
