Yeah two hundred+ is great! Haven't got them all as some are just too close together or colors that you'd never use!

@Kenneth: PErsonally I feel that you can really do some kind of "speed-blending" easier with the Model colors, since they don't try as fast as most others (which seems to be a tribute to the historical painters I guess), done it myself a few times on robes, clothig etc. and you cant really tell the difference.
You can pull it off with other colors as well though as you wanted to say (I guess?).

Generally I think one can do good paintjobs with any brand of color. If one can't paint Vallejos won't help either.

As Lonewolf pointed out the range is awesome with Model Colors, that'S probably their biggest plus.

well, I still mix a lot while painting but it speeds things up if you have more colors to choose from

Reviewing my paint collection, I have paitns from various manufactures and mix and match when I need to. I find I use the Vallejo and GW mostly, but the americana and goldin paints coming in a close 3rd.

But just having the betters paints as some one said, doesn't make you a great painter if you can't paint in the first place. . . . .

Switched to model colours a few years back and love them very much! agree that reds are nice! I always test the reds first when ever I test new paints. I've recently got my local B&M shop to bring some reaper master series in for a test run. Hope they are worthy of all the raving I have been hearing lately

can you tell me wich colours do you find most useful ?

I use vallejo model and GW colors and I find them both usefull for different jobs.

is there are any paint analog to GW kommando khaki ? This one from gw is very nice colour, but it is colored water, not paint

VMC Khaki is what I used as a Kommando Khaki analog. It is pretty good stuff in my experience. Fairly close match, color-wise, too. I don't know how it'll look side by side when its on a model and dry, but in the bottles it seems very close.

The difference between the Model and Game colour lines (besides the hues) is that the Game colours use a more durable binder for the pigment. If you only use water to dilute the GC line you'll have big problems with durability.

re. wet blending with VMC paints.

Very easy to blend on the mini when using the glaze medium.
