thanks everyone for for looking. 
Didn't want to flood the screen with everything so I thought pirates be a good introduction seeing as I love them and was talking about it. 
@Skrit: yup I made the ship out of cardboard. I'm quite happy with it even if its a bit boxy. Its heavily influenced by a ship building article that you can download from the foundry website
