I personally think that this dread is looking good so far...it will make a nice birthday present for me:)
I think a dark blue glaze will tone down some of the brighter areas nicely. I hope I am correct in assuming that the purity seals aren't finished...I like the green ones you did on the commander best. I think the green really stands out against the blue armor. I think that if you keep painting my miniatures so well that this 3500pt. army could keep growing just to see you paint them :)

Its always nice to hear happy client. Isn't it Mahon?

In Poland we always say "Client have always right". So I think we see some green purity seals on Dread
Kudos for you for chosing Mahon as a painter. I do the same and choose him as my sensei (master Mahon, teach me that Paint Kung Fu.)

Good choice and Im really jealous that you will have so nice painted army :)

Don't be jealous...I have just finally gotten lucky enough, after playing for 7 years, to be able to afford to have one myself. :) If Mahon can teach as well as he paints you will be amazing one day as well.

 Thanks, you two are masters of complimenting and making me embarrassed.

to be honest I didn't even start the purity seals.

It was my mother's birthday yesterday and we were all too busy fixing and arranging things to let me actually paint too much.
I believe I should be able to post updated WIPs todaay.

OK for the green purity seals. And I am happy about thiw WIP thread - it will allow you to co-create this mini :)

cheers

Great colors indeed. Basically the others told already everything about it, just wanted to add my compliment too :D.

sweet! blues blending almost perfect... front mini blues are top quality but you should take a bit more time on back mini right shoulder plate bending ;) but hey this is just me being picky  so far the wip is just soooo nice loving it.

you should be picky...

... and I will be smoothing the blending today or on Wednesday

Well I can't add much that hasn't been said already, but it's damned fine so far. Kinda makes me wish I could do such a job...

I know it's been a long time sincve the last photo... but much time was spent (wasted?) by me on running here and ther when we were buying the new flat for us :( I hope this one shows the way it changed...

I did some things but much of it still needs cleaning (eg. the 'toes'). Many details are still not done, and the base will receive some static grass. But you can see what I am going to do with this thing :)
