the avatar is from an Austrian Soccer club. They were called Austria Salzburg, back in 1994 when they reached UEFA Cup Finals but lost unlucky to Inter Milano (0:1 and 0:1 back then they still had 2 final games - I think?!) in 1995 they played 1:1 and 0:0 against Ajax in the Championsleague, then their Goalkeeper got attacked with a 2L/2kg bottle to the head against AC Milano, which caused the game to be scored 3:0 for Salzburg, but they didnt get 3 points so that Milan could go on to the 1/8-Finals by an advantage of 1 goal, while having the same ammount of points.
Then it got a little quiet, players got big headed, left the Club, played abroad but never had much success (Wolfgang Feiersinger won the Championsleague with Dortmund, but that was it then...) and the Boss made some very wrong decissions with players that cost a lot but didnt play much...

Last season was the worst season since that, they almost had to go one league lower, but managed to stay in the last 2 matches. This season Red Bull became their sponsor and they bought some experienced Players like Linke and Zickler from Bayern Munich, Czech national Player Lokvenc, Alex Manninger from Arsenal London and some other Austrian Players that played in strong European Leagues.
So they went favourite for the title over night, which made me happy enough to use their logo as my avatar...
