you're right, Nameless, they're not very coherent in what they do. but I like these 'weird' models quite a lot :)

apart from Huge stuff like tarrascus or the big dragon (wich are like forgeworld stuff) the rest of rackhams minis are quite afordable if you ask me, i have almost all the range for dirz and i only need like 10% of that to play confrontation, besides some minis are so powerfull that is possible to built an army with only them and a couple more minis...

People say its as expensive as GW well you really dont need 50 plus minis like GW, sculpts are far more detailed, blisters come with cards with profiles and also a mini rulebook... a carnifex is about 33euros and rackhams plastic aberration equivalent is 25euros etc...

So if its to built a warband depending how many you wanna buy (ussually 10 is magic number : depending on race if its more or less swarmy) is not that overthetop investment.
For example my painted dirz warband that has 10 minis today costs about 66 euros.

not too much if that"s all You need to gather reliable warband
my based on cobblestote's sculpts necromunda gang is worth ~35? for 13-14 minis :D

for dirz is like that but other races can be less or more expensive, for example wolfen minis are more expensive since they are so big but then again its less minis on a normal warband of wolfen...

If your on a small budget you can tailor your army according to that (buy one big mean living legend  )

when i decided to spend money on rackhams i had to restrain myself from anyother system and that time i was also interested on PP, also i had the luck to buy all my stuff 25% less than market ^^
so lots of alchemist in me house matey.
