both painted and unpainted figs? Don't think so. As it was pointed out somewhere, too many production and distribution problems connected with such solution.
We'll see if that's true :)

I've heard, that those model will be hard to re-paint, because of used material (paint will not stick to it, or something like that).
If that's true - every army will lok the same
But some of us aren't interested in painting armies. I enjoying painting but loathe being stuck painting 30-40 models (or more). These models come as prepainted and unpainted for my understanding.

I would take this game up if pre-painted, I don't have time to gather and paint yet another companies mini's (to add to the 100;s of partial painted I already own  )

I guarantee that if GW went prepainted for core choices it would not be long before unpainted models were not available. I would love to do a skaven army but I am not painting a model that is worth 2 points.

As with most thinks, this is each to there own, and that is the great thing about this hobby - everyone can get want they want out of it.

I can understand your point of view. However - as I've written earlier - my hobby is not painting or gaming - but both.
So - I want to have a possibility to paint my army as I wish.

:curtain: I actually have 2 sets of pre-painted minis (not rackham's of course) but putchased these because I was curious about painting quality :)
I'll repaint them as soon as I finally start "call of cthulhu" minis :)
