In the last month I have played 3 or 4 games of hybrid, which I have greatly enjoyed. I can just imagining open one of the doors and coming face to face with the aberation that comes with the box set.
THIS is a whole different matter. It is like his bigger brother that takes steroids. Beautiful sculpt, but is it me, or is it lacking some of the detail.
Either way, makes GW models look like 99c cowboy and indian plastic sets in comparison.

I'm not sure it this can be considered as 'lowering quality'. They are entering another branch of the figure business, that's all. If you don't like it, keep with the metal ones, I'm pretty sure, they won't stop producing those. I think they rather aim at a broader audience.Corvus wrote:once again Rackham is lowering the quality of their products to get more audience
not sure if I like that
OTOH, regardless how big the Rackham fan club is, if Rackham has financial problems, they have to do something. If they don't, you'll soon have no Rackham minis at all. I would say rather some pretty good quality plastic models extra than nothing.
This is probably more a try to enlarge the company, which is again a logical step, you would do the same with your own company if it was running well. Wouldn't you?

Yeah, it's great that opinions differ. That's why we have various minisSlawek wrote:We can compare GW to Harleys, Rackham are like a japanese bikes. I prefer Harleys, Mahon Kawasaki. Nothing wrong with that
BTW I prefer Harleys to Japanese bikes.

well i dont feel so much bug love since the carnifex.
Plastic makes more sense for such big miniatures and rackham intends to release few plastic kits a year just for big fellas, makes perfect sense to me.
For 1st plastic i can say IT IS same level of detail or better than GW... and GW is doing plastic for years.
Concept wise some may like it or not personally i think this is the harley of minis.
Im very happy with this one.
