wen i was builting buglands i considered making a forum also, but since there are tyranids based forums outhere i decided not to... then i considered about modeling/painting but again also that was covered...
I think that forums are a good thing and sometimes evolve to other things like portals etc... but since i already had my site it didnt make much sense for me a forum... with all that said i say... go go Tim.
Who knows if this isnt the begining of a cool Tim site
Just thought I'd update this thread with a little announcement, the first Worldofminis comptition is announced, and hopefully I will see some interesting and innovative stuff from entrants, you can view the topic by following the link
basically it is a concept art contest to design a mini based on the Worldofminis title, the winning design then to be sculpted and cast for sale on the site to members.
If you are interested then please feel free to join up and have a go.
In my opinion WoM should be a kind of tutorials resource... without gaming dicussion, rules questions, showcase gallery etc. You know, the place where We can find usefull tips, tutorials, and ask how something is made. The point is, that there are few boards concentrating only at painting tehiques... But this is only my little wish...
