holy crap! propably won`t make it this year :/ . somehow i was convinced that GD Germany is at the end of month...
well, only a miracle would make me entering GD possible, mostly because I would have to organize the trip myself (rest of he gang I wanted to come with defiitely won`t make it because of time left to the event).
i`ve started to belive it`s some kind of curse

- last year i was unable to come because of similar reasons.
well, looks i`ll have to leave it all to GD UK (again

).

hi guys and gals! GD GErmany is over and it was a very nice competition, very tough categories, even Inquisitor was awesome with unfortunately only 4 entries.
Slayer Sword goes to a German #guy who I dont know and I didnt remember his name, would have given the sword to either Goatman (2 Gold in Diorama and Fantasy single) or Banshee (gold in 40k large, gold open, silver lord of the rings). French entries were quite awesome again, after some quarrel with the judges (Degra/Cheeba disqualified because Cheeba wasn't present, some entries were 10 minutes late and they were not taken anymore) Bragon takes his stuff out of the competition (40k large/vehicle and LotR single I think) and Julien Casses doest take a trophy with his amazing SpaceWolf Termi squad so I don't know if he took them out as well or if they didn't place - which would be a shame
German Team did well, even if 4 of them didn't show up, they took 7 Demons, 4 gold if im not misstaken.
Mordred takes a silver demon in WHFB Regiment, I was very happy about that because he really deserved it!
I took bronce in Warhamer Monster with my Belakor (wish I had had more time...), which was the category where the slayer was given out and Gold in 40k single with my UM Chaplain which was a suprise to me...but I am really really happy!
My scratchbuilt Barbarian was too "un-GW-ish" and failed to place, which I am a bit disapointed about, but at least I am happy myself with how he turned out, considered it's my first scratchbuilt mini.

It`s strange feeling to see how winnig entry is growing, commenting it and criticising it, and after that it scores golden deamon statue

I just came back from Köln and I'm a happy man
At the award ceremony my name was called out for second place but the picture showed another regiment, so another painter ( pierre vauvillier ) took the prize. I went to a judge to clear up the misunderstanding and it turned out I won second place but they took the wrong pics. I thought it was pretty funny but some other painters seemed to disagree with the judges decision because they thought my entry wasn't as good as the other one. But in the end the judges decided and I'm very proud of my first statue
@szary : Matt Cexwish took a third place ( should have been higher imho ) with an amazing diorama.
Tomorrow I take and post pictures. Cheers to all the guys I met today and to all the winners.
