just used GW browns and 2 vallejo colors :) Basecoated bleached bone, en then started with the washes in this order (I think):

Graveyard earth
Bestial brown
Dark flesh
VMC # 147 leather brown (this is a bit lighter then dark flesh, but it'll take out the warmth of the brown a bit)
Scorched brown
Scorched brown + a touch of black (only a very little of this)

Verdigris is dark angels green + hawk turquoise. (about 50/50)
second layer of verdigris is with a bit more hawk turquoise. Make sure it's still a bit green and not too blue. And it's important to keep this very thin. As I tried it on a test piece and the green builds up very fast over the brown colors.

Edging on the empty hand is done with VMC # 005 ivory. Still need to do the rest of the armour.

Hope it helps :)

update. I've done the skull, gems, and base + added deeper shading to the green parts. I tried gold nmm, and on the soulcage hanging from his belt it came out ok, on the weapon it looks like poo, but I'll try to fix that. It's just a complex shape, and untill now I kept my nmm practice on easy stuff :D

Great job, ToMaZ! I think it's my favorite pick from your minis so far! And the base is pretty cool, too.
Great colors, skillful painting, cool job I say! And... big pics which surely required courage :)

And not bad photos

Only the weapon could use some more definition of details, and highlighting...

I think you made the armour abit too dark ... the orange shine to it gave it a rusty feeling. the nmm gold on the cage thingy looks very nice, and so does the robe
