Samurai model has been heavily discussed on both Reaper and our shop forum :) First of all, as some of samurai fans stated - this is not a samurai (e.g. her swords). Please, let's call it female warrior model from now on ;)
Secondly - bare midriff is illogical, but it's cool for a fantasy chick. Don't bother LadyEyes, I'll say that on your behalf:

Finally, one of ideas was to paint the discussed midriff with metallic paints and pretend it is another part of her armour 8)

There's a new batch of reaper greens. Werner K. is soooo goooood...
Love his style - somewhere between static, less detailed gw products and fancy rackham stuff.

*laugh* No need to apologize to me!

I like both of the women Werner has in this batch, actually. At least this succubus is standing on her hooves! The only thing I think is a little awkward looking is how her hair is where the wings stick out. I think he could have made it look a little more like her hair was actually flowing over the joints rather than looking like the wings were poked on from the outside as an afterthought. I know that's how she probably was assembled, but I think he could have made the hair look a little better there.

I wouldn't refuse to paint this.
