Looks like your marines are really old this way and i have to say im a friend of these old skool styles.
Would be great if you could make a photo of your army, when finished.

P.S.: Fluffy ?? Whats fluffy ?? Im an artist no fluffy fluffer or snivlin snotlin :D

JustanotherArtist called them oldschool and must have been right. With one minor mistake - oldschool would rather use metallic paints instead of NMM :)
Ah, and oldschool painting is a cool thing if ytou ask me.

@illusionrip - you must have eagle's eyes. I didn't even notice the line! Wow...

you weren't kidding around when you said you were painting an entire army ? :) You have a really great standard going on for this army and I can't wait for more troopers.

One little tip maybe : watch out for any tanks you are going to include. Pure yellow tanks suck ass ^^ also if you make the tanks darker with only some yellow symbols, they will contrast nicely with the troops.

Yep really good tip there Mordred, I was thinking twice for painting tanks just yellow. I've yet to grab a tank kit, before GW increase their price.

I'll try some weathering on the tanks too. :)
