hehehe, kbk AKMS (or AK-47 if You wish) is pretty sweet, it's a classic after all

yesterday I spent 24hrs on (damn cold...) military training ground and because of lack of squad leaders I was commander of a whole platoon

yesterday I also realised that most of polish soliders (I especially mean privates) are TOTAL idiots...
it's a shame that core of polish army is built upon such morons...

I once had the opportunity to fire an AK-47 on the ranges when I was in, beat the crap out of my SLR, the only thing I found was that it tended to pull upwards as you shot it, still a fantastic weapon. Hope all is going well with you mate, platoon commander.

that's correct, although it's great fun to shoot kalashnikov using real bullets

in poland mechanised infantry platoon contains 39 not 34 soliders allocated in 4 carriers
