Some seriously weathered military hardware

Post by Skeeve »

I am not sure where to put it or even whether anybody needs it, if not Mods, please remove this thread.
In constant discussion about vehicle weathering that pops up here and there what is often missing is how vehicles actually weather.
Numerous pictures of tanks and other military hardware that you can find out there are usually taken to demonstrate might and glory
rather then focus on wear patterns. So, in my recent travels I visited a certain military museum in upstate New York that
featured several tanks in a rather sorry state. I thought that it is rather fortunate from my point of view and took some high resolution
pictures depicting weathering and wear in high details to use as a reference.
