Skrit's Showcase blog.

Post by Skrit »

I am actually working on some painting at the moment and I thought beginning with my entry for our MEII would be a good start. This week I'll try to post some wips but in the meantime here is the Harlequin Death Jester I painted for Namelless:

Pic taken by Phil, I've made some myself but unfortunatly cannot find the cable I need to upload from cam to computer. :bonk:

The idea for the Death Jester was that his cloak represented the Aurora Borealis and the pins on his hood represent the stars in the skies. I also for the first time did some freehand (checker pattern) and also OSL which for a first time I am quite content with. I also made him a bit dirty (most Eldar I see are mostly very clean) as if he had been fighting hard in an urban area for a prolonged time.

And if you care, votey linky to CMON:

Cheers!

Tim.

Actually no, I guess Photobucket did that. :?

Edit: duh, this is of course the showcase section and I almost started posting wips! :bonk:
Instaed I'll post finished works here and start blog too in the WIP section.

Okay, all the pics I could find with finished works (might be good with all the new members onboard). Hopefully newer works will start to appear soon! ;)

Some minis could do with better pics I know and since I still have most of them I might re-do them next time I need to take photos...

In photobucket you can adjust the limit on the pic's size under options (up to 1MB I think) so they won't autoshrink ;)

Normally you can change the size when you upload too. Just put it on 1MB files and yourpics will never shrink unless they are bigger than 1MB :) The pics you've uploaded allready will stay small though...

My personal favourite is the green colour on the skaven. Great job on that!
Others are cool as well, but not as much as the plague lord.
