Post Your ART!!
Re: Post Your ART!!
Very nicely done. I like Bohun the best of the two, but they are both awesome works!
Re: Post Your ART!!
yep. I also prefer Bohun, but you seem to have an interesting style. I'll be happy to see more from you
Re: Post Your ART!!
Huh, I'm really glad to here (or see) that Thanks guys
I have two next paintings also fast-shots so quality and colours are not exactly the same like in reality. I'm searching for good photographer now to make "more" professional photos
So here they are:
BattleCry
Oil on canvas, 50x70 cm
Ace
Same - oil on canvas, 50x70 cm
Cheers

Re: Post Your ART!!

/runs away before Mahon gets in firing range
Re: Post Your ART!!

This time 'Battlecry' strikes me as the more interesting of the two. While I can not paint well at all and oils elude me completely, 'Ace' just seems to have slight proportion issues for the position that he is in. Very interesting concept, but not as interesting as 'Battlecry.'
Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us, and hope to see more soon.

Re: Post Your ART!!
Has it really been two years since someone posted in this thread!?
The first image was for a computer applications class. It was my first time using Adobe Illustrator, based on a photo of Cliff Burton. We were to use blocks of color to replicate an image.
I have also picked up a drawing tablet recently and am slowly teaching myself how to use it. The second is a picture of Domino (comic book character). It's pretty rough with little photo reference, so things may look kind of wonky.

Re: Post Your ART!!
I suppose we prefer to paint minis... maybe it's easier than this?
Re: Post Your ART!!
They both have their challenges. Good mini painting technique is extremely difficult, in my opinion.Nameless wrote:I suppose we prefer to paint minis... maybe it's easier than this?
