that wouldn't be DD... or would it? :)

@Nav - first two were Ilyad games, Asmodee was just a distributor. I think that problem was rather on Ilyad management side, but Illusion_rip should have better knowledge of these matters :)
Asmodee was responsible for Rackham? Never heard about that

I know they were distrib only... doesnt change the fact anything they touch gets canned.

I suppose that partnership is a new one, and concerns the 'pre-painted' rackham :)
I don't think that Asmodee, as a distributor, has/had significant influence on success of any line.
Of course, we could say they just bring bad luck

I disagree those lines never got sucessfully spreaded/distributed... thats a major kick in the nuts if you aim for sucess.

Little off topic but my 2 cents. Most small game comp that fail do so because they are run by artist not business men. Artist know how to make the cool sh!t but some of the other details slip through the cracks.

As for the Asmodee they can only sell stuff that they have in stock. I personaly think the North American crew are a great crew and hard workers. Nothing but good things to say about em. ;)

As for us taking over HD that would be fun but not sure we would be up to the task. I woud give it my all if we did get the chance though.

I second everything you said.

I can only imagine the amount of money it would take to buy Helldorado... ouch...
