heya,
I'm currently making a showbase for the mordheim warband I have been posting here over the past few weeks. This is the first time I put an effort into it, and any advice would be greatly appreciated. I took a kinda crappy pic, I'll take better ones tomorrow, but this gives a good idea of what it will look like.
Are there things you would change / add / remove? let me know please.

I know you've put a lot of effort on the paint pot bases but I'd leave them out... It just looks odd Imho.

well, I'm sorry to say this but the paintpot caps, still look like caps to me 
Maybe you can buy a small round wooden stick ("Hubo or Gamma or other DIY stores have these) and cut these into smaller cilinders and put the minis on that?
Other than that I think it's nice. Not too busy, nice and simple, all the focus goes to the mini's.
Oh, I think you better put the wizard on a round base too

I like them - freehand on large base is pretty cool 
and to be honest - I don't mind the caps; they make display base more original
I have an idea: if You want to put snow on the base You could also glue the rusty crate leading to sewers... You could paint some disguisting dirt around it: greenish and brownis tones should compose interesting with snow laying around...

that doesn't sound bad, but I allready have grass on the base by the time I write this :/ can't remove it, too much superglue
I was thinking about something sewer-like myself, but don't really know what materials I could use. I will propably make some colour variations here and there, and maybe something bigger on one of the sides.
