Don't feel too bad CP. I sent a whole letter to a Polish research laboratory last fall that was made with machine translation. I asked Mahon to tell me how bad it sounded and he's never answered. Who knows what I said to those poor folks!

didn't you get the answer? I don't think I have it any more, but the text wasn't bad. of course, it felt like machine-translated text but if one wanted to understand it, they wouldn't find it too difficult. not very natural though
