Jeez that some scarey armour :metal:

Love the blue jems
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

I want better pics of warmachine bot - looks really nice now although stripped paint could be painted more delicate imo :)

Any particular angle for the pictures Demi? I also appologize, I am unsure which you mean by the stripped paint. Are you referring to the parts like the shoulder section?

blue gems are indeed very nice.
I think that smoothness of transitions and paint consistency should be your main concern now when painting.

Ok was going for a heavy rusted feel in those areas. I will try some orange/red stimpling to see it it would help it.

Thanks guys the gem is the first thing I've painted that i am not teriffied of showing on a close up.

Its looking very good and reiterating what others have said the gems really stand out, but i think their clean and finished effect to me picks out alot of the inconsistencies that nameless has mentioned on parts of the model. I think smooth transitions will help with that with some simple glazes would help. But i think overall its coming along really well. I've painted an avatar and i know how fun this model can be to paint but also how difficult too. Great job and keep going !
