More work on him spotted a few spots where the battle damage needs to be played with.

Looks good so far. I think that when you do his eyes more darker then the dramatic effect will enhance more. Maybe a soft reddish glow will look nicely too?

Looking very nice :) i like the battle damage and worn/weathered effects they make the guy look like he actually was in a battle. Im not sure if its the background or the fact he is a black templar but i feel the limited colours makes the mini and the base rather "same-ish" if that makes sense. Maybe more contrast on some of those metals might help? like on his crux mace thingy, some more highlights and shading? But like you said, it isn't finished yet :) but i hope this helps a bit.

any feed back helps. I will flip the back ground around next time I take a picture of him and see if the gray makes any difference. I have to also have to play with my lights, I seem to be getting a lot of hot spots. C+C from my friends here who have seen the mini in person and my pictures. I'll spend tonight picking up the metals and practicing making glowing eyes on a bag of space marines that I have laying around. Will take pictures this evening of any of the results I get.

Photobucket resizes the pics automatically if it's bigger than a certain size (in kilobyte or megabyte) You can change the maximum size in your accountoptions if I remember correctly. If the pic is still to big, use photoshop to resize. You can even change the size of the file if you use 'save for web' and play around a bit with the quality.

Also IMO if you want to show big pics, it's nicer to put different angles under eachother instead of next to eachother. The topic will be easier to read :)

The fig looks nice btw. Dark and gritty. It's bit hard to see the highlights and shading though on the smaller pics.

@ Demi- Those are pretty also shows I really can pick up the edge highlighting.

@ToMaZ- I re-edited the previous pics to make them eye friendlier. I just want to find a happy middle ground between the huge pictures I have been taking and what these turned out to be. You know something where you can see highlights with out standing back and away from the computer. :P Eh I will keep practicing the photo stuff too.
