Eyepatch sound good, definitly need a ale keg standing next to him. Maybe add a pokercard pinned to his hat?

there are lot of birds, that you could use a small parrot for yarry, he's not that big after all.
gw inquisitor in golden armour comes to my mind, there is a gamezone elf with some eagle (I have it at home), reaper 54mm pirate maria has a parrot. Andrea sells bits, they might have some birds as well.

I have the inquisitor bird at home. That one isn't really suited for yarry. It has mechanical bits + an arm attached to it... and two heads

Honestly, I don't want to spend the shipping costs on a small bird

I think the sculpting will be a good exercise!

you can also use bird from metal banner from skeleton box - but I am not sure metal parts are still included

I am actually quite sure they aren't

A mini I started tonight so it's a very early WIP. There isn't much too see yet but it's been sooo long since I showed something

Nothing is completely finished yet. His hat needs more shading, the purple/red parts all need highlights and smoothing and the metallics need some colour worked in. The metallics are actually shaded and highlighted but it doesn't really show on these pics...

Sorry for the bad pics btw. I'm lazy.

Wow, that's been a while!:D

As you say very early wip so not much to comment. Is the nose/beak mask thingy going to be metallic? I thought with the stitching it is supposed to be more of a softer fabric?
