Very small update (It keeps me going...) with some quickly taken pics. Mainly because I needed to check the fur. My eyes were fooling me again!

I started working on the metallics and fur + did some more skinwork. I'm getting there...
Don't mind the base btw. I work on that in between, or when I don't feel like painting on Airtis :D So it's not entirely finished yet.

I like the skin, the back in particular.

Other things are not done yet, right? :D

i love the back....i hesitate to tell you to go deeper in the shadow because i don't know the rteaction of trov

it's really better and smooth, and i supose in real the shadow are more dark, the picture look like a bit over exposed

I was thinking about that, but honestly I don't know how. I wanted hair on the lower arms, and belly/chest. But I don't want too much of it...

The skin is closests to being done and it's still not completly right :D
The rest is in the early stages :) I applied some color to see how they looked all together. I'm using some new colors I haven't used before, so I wasn't sure.
I think I'm gonna switch the trousers to a dark brown. The rest is going to stay the same... sort of... I think

About the pictures: I usually don't have time or just don't feel like putting up my lightbox and extra lights when I'm done painting. So they've all been quickies up 'till now :)
So the pics aren't super. The shades IRL are a bit deeper, but not a lot.

And I might go deeper in the shades. I added a bit of P3 Exile blue yesterday to the shades and highlighted again with VMC Ivory/offwhite. Then I glazed with P3 Flesh wash to give the skin some warmth again and smooth the highlights a bit more.

Thanks for all the comments.
Much appreciated :)

I'm working on a Yarry. Converting it a bit into a pirate 'YAHR'ry. It's a very slow project and still in it's early stage. I'm experimenting a bit with different putty's and mixing ratio's.

Is there anything you think I should add or change? I'm thinking about an eyepatch and changing his sword in a scimitar or something. I'm not sure yet.
I'm still fairly inexperienced with sculpting so C&C is more than welcome.

yo ho ho, a pirate's life for me...
