I'd try dark metal colour (such as boltgun metal + chaos black highlighted ich boltgun) covered by a layer of RUST of course! :D
let's rust everything around!!! :bonk:
but sersiously imo rusty metal should fit pretty well 8)

heya guys,

I took this pic a while ago. I didn't show him because I thought I was going to finish him soon... well since that didn't happen I decided to post him here anyway. He's not in that stage right now, did a little more on him and only got the gun and the scythe to finish. And then some corrections here and there.
Oh and don't mind the brown parts, that was only the first layer and I touched it with my grubby fingers

But I can't really put myself to painting him now. Also with that nurgle contest mini I'm working on :?
The pic is crap as usual, but they are getting better :P

That is looking very nice, typically Nurglish I have a load of Nurgle minis that need painting I may use your colouration as a base on which to do mine.

Looks really good so far :). Clean paintjob, Nurglish-dirty look, nice base. What did you use for the watery base?

Just plain old PVA glue ;) A couple of layers with some paint in it. (Since I lost my woodland scenics water somewhere :? that stuff was expensive!!)

anyway: Thanx... maybe this will get me to finishing him ;)

really nice - when I saw first layers of paint on the armour I wasn't sure about it's final look but now I am: good job! :D the rusty elements fit the model well; I am waiting for completed mini 8)
