Mew bust - goblin

How to convert or sculpt a miniature? How to make a decent base or even a full diorama?!

I gave the very first cast of this piece to my dad - it was :happybirthday: present ^^
I don't think he'll ever start painting it though :mrgreen:

@Demi - not a bad idea! :D

As for the bust itself I am a bit torn. On one hand I quite like its face, expression and general realism of them. But on the other hand there's something which makes me a bit reserved about it - maybe the tesxture of its skin, maybe the way the wrinkles are painted. Dunno... One of the nicer busts and definitely a good one, but still with a little glitch... And I cannot find out why!

Anyway, I would like to see it painted by one of those top-of-the-class bust painters, in their historical-mini style, with bold zenithal lighting and shadows... This might change my point of view.

PS - I think I know what it is that I don't quite like! For me goblin skin should be thin like frog's skin. But with the texture it looks thick like elephant's or rhinoceros' to me...
