tattoo Techniques

Post by Dargrin »

Looking to start adding tattoos on a figure that I have in mind but not sure of the right way of going about it. Any help would be appreciated greatly.

just like any other freehand i'd say. there's rumours about this and that (glazes of flesh over it after painting,...) but just pick a fitting color and paint it.

thin layers and a few of them, depending on how intense you want them to be.

anything more specific you are worried about?

Since this is a new for me I am worried that it will look like war paint rather then a tattoo. I have done some digging on Cmon and found nothing notable for the search criteria "tattoo".

I guess that my concern is that I want it look like one and not something else.

there goes. plain black. could be plain blue. could be plain red. there's no fancy magic to it. just paint it the way you like.

and not much difference really in painting warpaint/tattoo...

Hey, this is actually pretty close to what I envisioned and placement. Are you a mind reader?

Thanks for the help by the way. :D
