Huh, the Dreamblade stuff was pretty darned intricate, though the thinner pieces had bendy issues on things like scrawny arms. The Heroclix stuff is actually pretty good as well, (well detailed out faces and fingers and such) but seriously over covered covered in paint.
Here's teh Heroclix repaint I did for Iron Painter: Seeing Red
EDIT: It is worth noting that I did some resculpting on Cyclops outfit. Here's what he originally looked like: Cyclops

Out of curiousity: How you stripped it from paint? Doesn't it get in the way that the mini is bending during painting? I'm asking because I've seen some AvP models in Heroclixx range and that gave me an idea....Skya wrote:Huh, the Dreamblade stuff was pretty darned intricate, though the thinner pieces had bendy issues on things like scrawny arms. I didnt actually strip those, just primered and painted over them. Rescuplting the Cyclops actually involved a bit of carving, basically pretending the the paint that was there was plastic. Seemed to work ok, but I'm not the greatest sculptor and I'm sure someone better then me probably would have considered what I did rather rough. As for stripping the paint I'm told from a friend who worked at Wizkids that Winsor & Newton Brush cleaner and restorer will actually work well, though I havent tried it personally.
