How to convert or sculpt a miniature? How to make a decent base or even a full diorama?!

I thought the skull was too small not too big. Just bear in mind there has to be a head inside - and all of the installations usually placed in SM helmets.

right I have done a mock up of the figure to get an idea on the helmet etc, and I am going to use a kit Terminator helmet as for the power cables I am still undecided what to do here, but needs sorting by tonight as I need to paint something as I haven't picked a brush up for a while.

If you want more realistic mini, you should do something with fingers in left hand.

But rest of mini is great, a realy like it :)

As for shading - it's a bit too weak for me. Highlighting looks just fine though!

Hey Guys

thanks, Mahon I agree, after looking at it it needs deepening off some with some real deep lines in the crevices of the fingers and one or two other places around the fist.

I am sort of going for a dirty gaudy yellow if that makes sense, as for wear and tear I am torn by going for heavy wear or just some bits on the angles knuckles and the odd bit of flaky paint.

I suppose either extreme, I don't think half way house quite looks right.
