Surfacer 1200

Post by illusionrip »

when you paint with glazes, sometimes you've got a problem..the metal make holes on the surface because of a problem of molding with white metal.
the pigments of thin layers of paint, show out the more you glaze
brief the horror begin, or, if you prefer, you have invited demi morgana at home and he began to play warmachine for 3 days long without sleeping (and he had eaten all your fridge and your lovely cat by the same ocasion)...

you agree with me, that the situation is a little border line......

so, one question..... what to do ?

mister neo, is a mark of japanese product, especially dedicated for hobby
the mister neo surfacer 1200 is the solution for our problem

the other product is the thinner, who is needed to dilute or wash your brush
just shake well the mister neo surfacer pot (not demi)
and apply it with an old dry brush....

wait the surfacer to be dry, and put another layer...
3 are the good quantity
then sandpaper the whole surface with a 600 paper
and reapply some mister neo surfacer 1200
and resandpaper....brief, repeat the operation until it pleased you

now you are saved and your mini is ready to be primed
and especially you avoid to see demi come at home

Good job, Stefan! I know surfacers from a few other brands and they're generally about the same (some qualities differ but the idea is the same).
You have to be careful not to lose too much detail and some skill is needed when sanding smaller miniatures...

That is awesome! Why hasn't someone mentioned "surfacer" where I would see it before now?! :bonk: I've needed this for a long time and tried different fixes, all of which I was unhappy with.

Thank you illusionrip! :trampolin: :rose:
